  • 11:45 a.m. – We arrive back in Flores and here ends the tour.

we will have to buy your entrance tickets ahead of time using your government-issued ID (Guatemalans) or passport (foreigners).

we will need to purchase two entrance tickets: 1) a ticket for sunrise entrance, valid before 8 a.m. (Q.20 for Guatemalans and Q.100 for foreigners) and 2) a ticket for general park admission, valid for the rest of the day (Q.25 for locals and Q.150 for foreigners). Total cost is Q.45 per person for Guatemalans and Q.250 per person for foreigners.

We will buy tickets for you ahead of time and its not a hassle for us.

  1. There is no ATM in Tikal, so please withdraw enough cash in Flores.

  2. We cannot promise that you’ll see the sun during the sunrise tour. Only during 15% of the year are days clear enough to see the sun from the temple. But even on days that are not perfectly clear you will see and hear the jungle awake far below you.
